The season premiere night will contain some other nuggets. Right after the premiere, we’ll air the show, “Manor of Speaking”, an after “Downton” chatfest produced by Houston Public Media.

“The Manners of Downton Abbey” follows in which historical advisor Alastair Bruce gives an in-depth look at how he ensures the show remains accurate. That airs at 11 p.m. and it’s definitely worth staying up for. Bruce is engaging and passionate about what he does. His behind the scenes tidbits are fascinating. (Here is part 1 of my interview with him where he answered some of your fan questions.)
