Primary Content
PBS President Paula Kerger is making sure “Downton Abbey” goes out with a bang.
Kerger says the show will have its own float in the Rose Parade which airs two days before its sixth and final season debuts on January 3.
In case you can’t wait that long to usher the show’s end, you can watch the special “Downton Abbey Rediscovered” Sunday August 9 at 8pm. If you miss it, you can watch it online tomorrow.
Hosted by Kerger and featuring interviews with creator Julian Fellowes and executive producer Gareth Neame, “Downton Abbey Rediscovered” takes viewers down memory lane, reliving moments from the past five seasons.
It will finally give viewers a taste of what is to come in the final season with some behind the scenes snippets.
The cast just wrapped shooting the final season last week.
