GHSA Playoff Round 1: North Cobb vs. Tift County Football Fridays in Georgia
North Cobb jumped out to a 21-0 first quarter lead and used its stifling defense to defeat Tift Co. 35-7. Ball State commit/NFL player Christian Albright had a season highlight interception to set up a score. Auburn commit/NFL player Chandler Wooten and UNLV commit Drew Tejchman helped stifle the Tift offense. Tejchman also had a 48-yard TD catch. CJ Cole rushed for 109 yards and two scores.
