The Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center has a great day of training for parent-teachers and interactive learning exercises for kids. On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, parents will receive a day of training in nationally recognized curricula for pre-K through elementary age children. At the end of the day, the adults will have training and resources in hands-on lessons and will be certified in Growing Up WILD curricula.

While the grown-ups are learning the kids will be, too. Naturalists at the park will lead students through interactive lessons to increase their knowledge of the environment and ways to work within the environment to keep it safe.
