Biota Pharmaceuticals is Moving HQ to metro Atlanta

Rockville, MD-based Biota Pharmaceuticals has announced it is closing the corporate headquarters and moving them to Alpharetta, GA.

According to a company press release, Biota Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of anti-infective products to prevent and treat a number of serious and potentially life-threatening viral and bacterial infectious diseases.

Biota is implementing a recently revised corporate strategy that will shift the company focus from early-stage research to clinical-stage development.
