One of Georgia's Largest Job Events for Veterans Announced

The Greater Atlanta Veteran Hiring Expo has been announced by the Scott Rigsby Foundation.

The event is scheduled from noon to 5PM for May 3rd and is part of the fourth annual Alliance Ride in support of our military heroes.

Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA is the location.

Employers will be seeking full-time applicants along with internship opportunities. A computer lab will be available for job seeking veterans to prepare resumes, and workshops will be offered covering topics such as career planning and employability skills.

The GA Department of Labor, The Department of Veterans Affairs, The GA Department of Veterans Service, local Workforce Investment Areas, Employment Services for Guard and Reserve will be in attendance.
