Urban Outfitters Will Locate a Major Call Center Near Augusta

Pennsylvania-based Urban Outfitters has announced the creation of a major call center to be located in Columbia County, GA near Augusta.

According to a company press release, Urban Outfitters will hire 200 people before August 1 and a full 400 people over the next five years.

Urban Outfitters contact center Director Bryan Whitney says, “The Columbia County location will play a significant role in Urban Outfitters’ goal of building a unique work environment where we can assemble a team that believes in creating a compelling and distinct experience for our customers.”

The call center will be located in the 40,000 square foot vacant Mike Furniture located on the Bobby Jones Expressway.
