Military/Veteran Transition Workshop – May 15

Telecommunications giant, Sprint, is hosting a one-day workshop to help current members of the military and veterans transition back to the private sector workforce.
According to a company press release, Sprint has a made a major investment into helping U.S. military investments. Sprint has been recognized for eight years as a “Top 50 Military-Friendly Employer” by G.I. Jobs magazine and has been named by CivilianJobs.com as one of the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Most Valuable Employers for Military. Sprint also was recognized by CareerBliss as the second Happiest Company for U.S. Veterans to work in 2012, one of the Top 10 Most Veteran Friendly Corporate Supplier diversity programs by Vetrepreneur, and recognized for going above and beyond the legal requirements for granting leave for military duty by the National Committee of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
The May 15 workshop is billed as “much more than a job fair”.
Workshop sessions include information on how to:

- Build and structure your resume, interview and network
- Build your personal brand Develop your career path
The event is being held from 1pm to 5pm on Wednesday May 15th at the Northcreek Office Building, 3715 Northside Parkway NW, Atlanta, GA 30327
