Primary Content
Summer Industries is America’s largest manufacturer of paper tubers, cores, and cans made of recycled paper.
The company has plants in Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, Florida, and soon-to-be Georgia.
A $3.5 million plant will be constructed in Kingsland, GA to replace the northeast Florida plant.
According to a report at The-Dispatch.com, "The City of Kingsland and the Kingsland Development Authority did an outstanding job putting together an incentive package that was tailored to suit our needs," says Steve Summer, CEO of Summer Industries, LLC. "They made our decision to come to Kingsland and Camden County an easy one. We anticipate spending over $3.5 million in site development and construction to get this plant fully operational."
"Summer Industries is a welcomed addition to our business community here in Kingsland. I know they will not only be a good fit for our community but great community partners and corporate citizens of Kingsland and Camden County," says mayor Kenneth Smith.
