New Health Center to Create 58 Jobs in Lowndes County

The Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Disabilities has announced a new behavioral health crisis center is to open soon in Valdosta, GA.
The new facility is part of an expanded $17.5 million investment in the region for behavioral health services.
According to a report from 13WMAZ.com, Commissioner Frank Berry says the new center will help the department "achieve its mission of serving individuals with mental health challenges as close to home as possible."
The new operations are expected to employ 58 people.
