75 New Jobs is Good News in Midland, GA

The world’s largest restaurant chain will soon open its newest store in Midland, GA just outside Columbus.

McDonald’s will be located on Flat Rock Road and is expected to open in August with 75 new employees.

Store officials will team up with the Goodwill Career Center to help fill the new jobs.

According to a report from WTVM.com, Goodwill Career Services manager Emily Layton says these new jobs are great for the community.

"Well I think it will be a great economic impact, I mean, that's 75 more people that have a job opportunity," Layton said. "They have the opportunity to really be able to build a career because McDonald's is not just about an entry level job; they have tons of career opportunities within the company."
