With legitimate claims of being the Hollywood of the South, Georgia has become a major player in the world of movies and television. But did you know, the tax credit that helped make it happen is also creating a new video game industry in our state?
This week on the Georgia Works radio show we talk to the head of the Georgia Game Developers Association who says video games are actually bigger than movies when it comes to economic impact.
I speak with a Georgia Southern Professor who has created one of the most well-respected video game design programs in the nation.
We also hear from students at Kennesaw State University who see a future that will have gaming components in just about every walk of life.
