Teleperformance Adding 130 Jobs in Augusta
Primary Content
Teleperformance, a world-wide customer service operator, is adding 130 more jobs to its Augusta facility, as reported by The Augusta Chronicle.
The global company has been operating in a 50,000 square foot building, with about 8,000 square feet of it left unfinished for this present growth. They are currently in the permitting process to complete the unfinished area with the expectations of operating by September.
“Teleperformance is a vital part of the stability of the Augusta economy as they hire people, grow and hire more people,” Mayor Deke Copenhaver said in a statement. “Their location is ideal, the facility is comfortable and they are benefiting from the information technology workforce in the Augusta area. We welcome these new jobs.”
The company, founded in 1978, provides customer care, technical support and debt collection operations to companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Apple, AT&T and Priceline.
