Cabela's Coming to Acworth and Augusta

Cabela’s Incorporated announced they are opening a 100,000 square foot retail store in Acworth and a 42,000 square foot Cabela’s Outpost store in Augusta.

Construction on the store in Acworth is to begin this fall and open in the fall of 2014. It will be located off of I-75 and Hwy 92 in the Cherokee Village development. Cabela’s is expecting to employ approximately 200 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.

"Georgia, especially the Acworth area, is full of sportsmen and women who share Cabela's enthusiasm for outdoor recreation. It is time to serve their needs with an extraordinary Cabela's store."

Cabela’s Outpost store in Augusta is to begin this summer and expected to open in the spring of 2014.

Cabela's Incorporated began in 1961 and is the world’s largest direct marketer of hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor merchandise.
