Pet Vlogging Idol
Primary Content
Do you have what it takes to be a Pet Vlogger? Let me explain what that is. Vloggers are bloggers except they blog by video. They flip out their cameras on whatever device they like (phones, tablets, laptops, desktops) and start sharing their thoughts. Pet Vloggers go on about their pets. There are many of them like Faris Jaclyn, Animal Guru or the Talking Animals channel.
Would you like to become one of them? Petco is giving you a chance to fulfill that dream. Enter their Unleashed by Petco vlogging contest by today for a chance to audition to be the next online pet vlogging superstar. (Don't worry the audition won't consist of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj rating your performance, although who knows, Grumpy Cat may make a surprise appearance at the judging table.)
This is all part of Barkworld Expo, the social media conference for pets and their Tweeting, blogging and Facebook loving pet parents. If that describes you (or you’re just curious) and you can come to the Atlanta Westin Buckhead, be sure to drop by. Bring your dog or cat too as it is a pet friendly environment. Doggie daycare is available if you need it.
One of the speakers is dog training personality and animal advocate Victoria Stillwell of It’s Me or the Dog and Positively Dog Training, the world’s first global network of hand-picked, world-class positive reinforcement dog trainers dedicated to providing the public a brand name they can trust in humane, force-free training. See the Barkworld Expo full schedule.
I will be there too moderating an informal panel on Journalism vs. Blogging: Is there a Difference? on August 24 at 10:15 a.m. Check out my interview with Barkworld Expo founder Denise Quashie.
