If you need microscope slides, pencils or even a tarantula for your biology classes, Chevron can help you. Through it’s Fuel Your School program, it helps raise money for supplies for science, technology, engineering and math projects, supporting public schools in Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton counties.

Money for the supplies are being raised through the online crowd funding site DonorsChoose.org. Chevron encourages teachers to post eligible classroom projects for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education to help prepare students who may be interested in these types of advanced technical jobs.

Throughout the month of October, Chevron is also donating one dollar, up to $400,000 when consumers purchase eight (8) or more gallons of fuel at participating local Chevron and Texaco stations in Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton counties to help fund eligible classroom projects. Here’s How to Add Your Project:

To sign up and request funding for your eligible classroom project, follow these three simple steps:

  • If you're not yet a registered teacher on DonorsChoose.org, sign up now. It will save you time when you actually post your project.
  • Post your project (requesting up to $2,000 in materials) before Nov. 30, 2013.
  • Spread the word about the Fuel Your School program, and be sure to go to Facebook and "like" Chevron Fuel Your School.
