WellStar Health Systems has over 900 job openings in metro Atlanta

The popular jobs website, SimplyHired.com, has released a list of the top 5 employers with available jobs in 25 major metro markets.

According to a report from Forbes, James Beriker, CEO of Simply Hired, says job opportunities exist nationwide, especially in health care.

"Scientific and lab" jobs and "engineering" roles (non-computer) saw significant increases month-over-month, as well. But healthcare remains the industry with the greatest number of job openings right now. About one-third of the top-posting companies in September were healthcare-related firms.

Dollar General - 978 jobs

Deloitte - 911 jobs

WellStar Health System - 907 jobs

McDonald's - 867 jobs

Piedmont Healthcare - 841 jobs
