The new Stone Mountain store is hiring 40 new employees.

There's a new Goodwill opening in Stone Mountain and they are in need of employees.

Goodwill of North Georgia is recruiting approximately 40 employees at its new Stone Mountain store which is scheduled to open on Thursday, January 30th, according to the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Patch.

There is a hiring event from December 18th - 20th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Lions of Judah Event Center located at 6202 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain.  Walk in applicants are welcome, but applicants are encouraged to apply online.

“Our mission is to put people to work. We do this through a variety of job training programs and employment services. We use the sale of donated goods to fund those activities," said Public Relations Director Elaine Armstrong.
