KSU Offering New Master's Degree
Primary Content
Kennesaw State University is now offering a Master of Science degree with a major in applied statistics.
The program, ideal for those in engineering, business or the science industries, will have a strong emphasis on statistical software programs such as Six Sigma, JMP and SAS and will follow a non-traditional schedule.
Larry Peterson, Dean of the College Science and Mathematics said in a press release, "This master's degree is very distinctive since the program will appeal to a broad spectrum of graduates by providing them with multiple career options in some of the fastest growing job markets."
Only three other universities in the University System of Georgia offer a master's degree in statistics - Georgia Tech, Georgia State University and the University of Georgia.
