Cabela's Outpost in Augusta will be the first Cabela's to open in Georgia.

Cabela's is soon to be opening it's first store in Georgia.

The doors will officially open for the Augusta store on Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 am, with a ribbon cutting beginning at 10:45 am, the company has recently announced.

The Augusta Cabela's Outpost will employ approximately 90 full-time,part-time and seasonal employees.

The 42,000 square-foot store is located at 833 Cabela Drive at Riverwatch Parkway in the Village at Riverwatch development.
