Savannah is the most historic city in Georgia established in 1733.

Ben Carter Enterprises, who developed the Mall of Georgia, the Outlet Mall of Georgia, and St. Johns Town Center, is taking on a new project: historic downtown Savannah.

The developer has outlined a $75 million revitalization plan that includes retail, dining and residential properties, according the the Savannah Morning News.

Ben Carter Enterprises would like to bring in a mixture of local and national businesses, as well as higher-end and less costly shops.
