Celebrating The Life And Legacy Of President Jimmy Carter In The Classroom

Jimmy Carter, a native of Plains, Georgia, passed away on December 29, 2024. He lived to be 100 years old, making him the oldest former president in U.S. history. During his long life, he had many jobs: a naval officer; peanut farmer; Georgia state senator; governor of Georgia; 39th president of the United States; and humanitarian. 

In celebration of President Carter's life and legacy, we've curated a collection of free learning resources you can use in your classroom.
