GHSA 1A Private Final: ELCA vs. Fellowship Christian Football Fridays in Georgia
In a game dominated statistically by Fellowship Christian, ELCA rallied to defeat the Paladins 34-27 in 2 OT to win its second straight 1-A state public championship. Fellowship took a 24-21 lead with two minutes in regulation, but an ELCA field goal with :06 seconds remaining forced overtime. In the second OT the ELCA defense held while the Chargers got a 1-yard TD run from Trevor Gear.
