In a fierce defensive battle between two ranked 5-A powers, a Jake Parker to Phillip Schiltz 21-yard TD pass with two minutes remaining gave #7 Cartersville a 17-14 victory over 4th ranked Creekside. The Purple Hurricanes defense didn’t allow an offensive touchdown as the Seminoles scored on a 70-yard pick six by Daiquan White and a 20-yard blocked punt return by B.J. Cowart.
