GPB's 2024 PBS KIDS Writers Contest starts January 13, 2025!

PBS KIDS is enhancing accessibility by adding American Sign Language (ASL) interpretations to six series, available for free on its digital platforms.

Kids enjoyed a screening of "Lyla in the Loop" and learned the legendary Carrot Cake Dance at the Dougherty County Public Library Northwest Branch in Albany, GA.

In 2024, PBS KIDS will roll out a full slate of civics-themed content. "City Island Sings" begins May 29th. "Together We Can" premieres the first ten episodes on July 3rd.

"Lyla In the Loop" is a funny and engaging new animated series for kids ages 4-8 about Lyla Loops and her fantastical blue sidekick, Stu, who use creative and strategic problem-solving and critical thinking skills to help their family, friends, and community! From building homemade carnival games to creating a new sandwich for the family restaurant– Lyla, Stu, and the whole Loops crew tackle challenges with equal servings of humor and heart.

The Work It Out Wombats! Podcast will feature eight fun-filled episodes rolling out every Thursday beginning January 4.
