A winter weather advisory is in effect until noon today, with a wind chill advisory in effect through Wednesday amid below-freezing temperatures and wind chills below zero.

Atlanta Public Schools and DeKalb County Schools have canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 16, ahead of a blast of winter weather. 

The National Weather Service canceled its winter weather advisory for all counties, but a wind chill advisory goes into effect from 2 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
