Colquitt County looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season when they battle 1-3 Valdosta. Colquitt, ranked 5th according to GPB poll, lost big to Brookwood last week.

One of the more interesting moves had Sandy Creek coach Chip Walker moving to Newnan to take over the Cougars program.

The regular season prep schedule has reached the mid-point for many teams and several important region games are just around the corner...

Football Fridays in Georgia did not escape being influenced by the hurricane as a large number of games in South Georgia were cancelled.
